Bertile Burel. With my husband, James Blouzard, we went on a world tour in 2003. When we came back, just before the Christmas holidays, we did not want to offer a lot of gifts to our loved ones when we came to live for six months with only five t-shirts. We wanted to share what we had just experienced and offer weekends throughout France. We started Wonderbox in 2004 with boxes for sports activities.

Wonderbox has 450 employees in seven countries in Europe and we generated 225 million euros of revenue in 2018. France accounts for half of our sales. Spain and Belgium follow. We have the largest network of partners and offer 90,000 activities focused on well-being, sports, unusual, gastronomy, short stays …

They are mostly women and young people. Half of our sales are between mid-November and Christmas and 30% for a birthday and Father's Day. How do you distribute? Essentially in stores, via corners at Fnac or in shopping centers. Internet represents 15% of our turnover. In fact, the "yellow vests" have impacted us. At first, it was even the disaster with falls of 20 to 50% of turnover the first Saturdays. Then, we observed a catch-up on the other days of the week.
